Coleen and Maddie: We have never met, but John was a good friend of mine at University of Miami. He was a terrific guy, fun loving, and really enjoyed life back then - the beach, sailing, golf, and UM. I am so so sorry to hear of your loss. I actually reconnected with John in August 2011 and we were trying to get together for dinner, but for a 1000 reasons, it never happened. I am shocked and saddened.
My regards to both of you, I hope you are ok.
Bill McDonough, Franklin, MA.

I will always have fond memories of johnny on Seabrook Beach. A few friends of mine named him SKY. He always had a better tan than George Hamilton. Rest in peace, buddy.

I am upset at this because I knew it was coming but could not do anything for him. My advice did not fall on deaf ears he just knew that he was to weak to get a grip of it. I liked John and I wish things were better for you guys. He loved you and Maddy very much but he just could not get it together so he pushed away. I am truly shaken over this and if you need someone to talk to don't hesitate to call me Coleen.
Love you
Mark
