Obituary of John J. King

John J. King, age 51, of Lowell and Kingston, MA passed away at home, on Thursday, November 3, 2011. John grew up in Chelmsford, MA and Baskin Ridge, NJ. He was a graduate of the University of Miami and developed his own Commercial Real Estate Company. John was passionate about community and involved in many charitable and civic organizations. He was an avid golfer, swimmer and had a passion for sports, but most of all he was a devoted father and family man that will be truly missed! John will be missed by Colleen King and their daughter Madeline of Kingston. He was the dear brother of William King of Gloucester and the late Lori King and loving son of the late William & Norma (Robitaille) King. He is also survived by an aunt and uncle, many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Calling hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Saturday, November 12, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. His Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Joseph's Church, 272 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Saturday, November 12 at 12:00 NOON. Interment to follow at Saint Joseph's Cemetery, Kingston.
