Obituary of Mary E. Withers

Mary Edna Withers, of Pembroke, passed away on January 9, 2012. She was 81 years old. Mary worked as a school bus driver with Joseph Ingalls and Sons for 30 years, serving the Hanover school system, as well as Thayer academy. She loved family camping trips, bowling, and just having fun. Beloved wife of the late George Withers. Loving mother of Cheryl Withers of Pembroke, and George Withers, Jr. of Fitchburg. Sister of Avis Umbrianna of Pembroke, John Henry Glauben of Pembroke, Jacob and Jan Glauben of FL, Robert "Gabby" Glauben of Hanson, and was predeceased by Richard, Beverly, and Betty. Sister in law to John Rupple of Pembroke, and Jack Williams of Duxbury. Cherished grandmother of Christopher, Elisabeth, and Spencer. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 12th from 4-7:00PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (Rt. 14) Pembroke. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 13th at the Shepherd Funeral Home at 10:00AM. Internment will be at the Center cemetery in Pembroke. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
