Joan K. Garnett, of Carver, owner and operator of Log Cabin Acres in Carver, passed away on January 20, 2012. She was 71 years old. Beloved wife of Charles Garnett. Loving mother of Linda Sciarappa and her husband Jay of VT, Terry Verville and her husband Robert Jr of Carver, and the late Stephen Garnett. Sister of Anne Taylor and her husband Donald of Canada. Cherished grandmother of Angela Sciarappa-Baldwin and her husband Gary of Idaho, Jason Sciarappa of VT, Bobby Verville of Carver, Matthew Verville of Carver, and Melissa Verville of Carver. Great grandmother to Gavin and Serina. Joan is also survived by her special friend Brenda Silva of Carver.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, January 23rd from 4-7:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St (Rt. 58) Carver. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 24th at 11:00 AM at the Plymouth County Cemetery, S. Meadow Rd, Plymouth. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
