Obituary of Viola M. Crozier

Viola M. (Jackson) Crozier, of Whitman, formerly of Pembroke, age 77, died on Thursday, February 9, 2012, at the Life Care Center in Plymouth, from complications of lung cancer.
Born in Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Cora Jackson & Harry Jackson, sister of Sara Kern(Robert) and the late Gilbert Jackson (Aldine).
Viola had been a Blue Bird and Camp Fire Girl leader, a member of the League of Women Voters; worked as a seamstress, a nurses aide and an activities director at the North River Nursing Home in Pembroke, a farm manager in Texas; volunteered at church and baby sat for her granddoggies in Iowa. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, country music, crafts, bingo, watching the Boston Bruins, and spending time with her family and friends, especially Karen and Sara.
Viola is survived by her daughters, Susan Crozier, Diane McDonough, both of Whitman, Patricia Donald of Walpole and Sally Brown (Eddie) of Middleboro; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Please join us in a celebration of her life at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett Street, (Route 14), Pembroke, on Tuesday, February 14, from 3:00-5:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM.
Funeral services will be private.
