Obituary of William E. Scott

William E. Scott, of Pembroke, passed away on February 11, 2012. He was 72 years old. Mr. Scott was raised in Quincy, and educated in Brockton where he attended Brockton High School and later attended Northeastern University. He owned and operated Scott Fuel Co. located in Pembroke. He was a past Master of the the Masons Rural Lodge in Quincy, and was also affiliated with the Wompatuck Lodge. Mr. Scott was also a member of the Rosicrucian AMORC He is survived by his children; William Dean Scott of New Mexico, Markham R. Scott of Wareham, Michael S. Scott of FL, and Robert L. Scott and his wife Carol A. of Norwell. Brother to the late Dean Scott. Beloved son of the late William, and Jeanette (Dean) Scott. Cherished grandfather of Rachael Scott, Markham S. Scott, Cassandra S. Scott, Elizabeth C. Scott, and Robert W. Scott, and he is also survived by one great granddaughter. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, February 15th from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (Rt. 14) Pembroke with a Masonic service set to begin at 7:00PM. A funeral mass will be held at St. Andrew's Episcopal church, 17 Church St, Hanover on Thursday, February 16th at 10:00AM. Internment will be held at a later date. Mr. Scotts family has requested, that if you feel moved to do so, a donation may be made to a charity of one's choice.
