Kathleen A. Coakley, of Pembroke, passed away after a long illness on September 17, 2012. She was 56 years old. Loving mother of Michael Griffin of Pembroke, and the late Brooke Sorrento. Cherished daughter of Jane and the late Edward Coakley. Beloved sister of Karen Nelson of FL, Anne Hay of Plymouth, and Lisa Merksamer of Halifax. Kathleen is also survived by her two granddaughters Amber Collins, and Emilee Fusco, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, September 21st from 5-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (Rt. 14) Pembroke. A graveside service will be held at the Center cemetery in Pembroke on Saturday, September 22nd at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Chron's and Colitis Foundation of America at www.ccfa.org.
