Obituary of Raymond Bennett

Raymond Bennett, age 92, of Duxbury, died on Friday, October 5, 2012, at his home. He was born in Hanson, and raised in Duxbury. For many years, Raymond was a carpenter in Duxbury. He was a veteran in the U.S. Army during World War II. Raymond was the beloved husband of the late Barbara (Cornell) Bennett; devoted father of Stephen Bennett of Duxbury and Robert Bennett & his wife Maureen of Chicopee; loving grandfather of Holly, James, Kelly, Katie and great-grandfather of Stephen and Dwayne. Graveside services at the Mayflower Cemetery, 774 Tremont Street, Duxbury, on Wednesday, October 17 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Raymond's memory may be made to American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
