Winthrop F. Atwood, of Duxbury, passed away on November 6, 2012. He was 82 years old. Loving husband of the late Melody J. Atwood. Beloved father of George R. Atwood of Duxbury, and Liz Strand and her husband Eric of Bridgewater. Brother of Nancy Gordon of Washington, and the late Lucy VanDusen. Winthrop is also survived by his extended family and friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, November 11th from 2-5:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston. Interment will be private.
