Obituary of Evelyn M. Banks

Evelyn M. Banks, 94, of Pembroke, passed peacefully away at Bay Path of Duxbury on Friday, December 14, 2012. Wife of the late George A. Banks; she is survived by her children, her son, James and his wife Janice of Centerbarnstead, NH; her daughters, Barbara and the late Frank J. Maltese of Pembroke, MA and Susan and her husband John Murphy of Manchester, NH. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren. Evelyn traveled extensively in her 80's. She loved nature, crocheting and spending time with her family. Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett Street, (Route 14), Pembroke, on Monday, December 17, from 4:00-6:00 PM and Tuesday, December 18, from 9:30-10:30 AM with a funeral service to follow at 10:30 AM. Interment at Blue Hills Cemetery, 700 West Street, Braintree, MA. Donations can be made to Mass Audubon or First Baptist Church of Hanson.
