Obituary of David M. Peck

David M. Peck, of Carver, passed away on December 13, 2012. He was 44 years old. Cherished father of Sarah Peck of Kingston. Beloved, and devoted son of George and Marjorie Peck of Carver, who was always there whenever they needed him. Loving brother to George Peck, Jr of Carver. Former husband of Jessica Fries of Kingston. Nephew of Joseph Peck of Carver, and Robert Southwick of Taunton. David was born in Middleboro, raised, and educated in Carver, and is a graduate of Old Colony Vocational Technical School. A skilled carpenter, David was a member of the carpenters union, and was employed by M.C.I. Walpole as a guard for the past 14 years. David was a proud past member of the Carver Fire Department. David worked on his family's bog, and for many years with Clark Griffiths. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, and loved his animals, especially his cat "Yetti". He will be dearly missed by all. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, December 21st, from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St (Rt. 58) Carver. A funeral service will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home on Saturday, December 22nd at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Lakenham cemetery in Carver.
