Obituary of Richard W. Nutter

Richard W. Nutter III, of Carver, died suddenly at the Jordan Hospital, Plymouth, on Wednesday, December 19, 2012. Richard, the son of Richard W. Jr. and Wilma (Clough) Nutter, and was born and raised in Brockton. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Linda, a son Richard W. IV, a daughter Nicole Nutter Young, and 4 grandchildren - Madison, Samantha, Tanner, and Nathan.
A graduate of the Tilton School in NH, he attended Bentley College receiving a Bachelors degree in Accounting and a Masters degree in Taxation. He served in the US Army from 1966-1969. Having retired in 2005, Richard was employed by the Department of Treasury for 39 years as an Auditor for the Internal Revenue Service and as a Computer Audit Specialist for the U.S. Customs Department.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, December 23rd from 2-5:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St (Rt. 58) Carver. Interment will take place at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne on Monday, December 24th at 10:00 AM.
