Obituary of Peter M. Colarusso

Peter "Uncle Pete" Colarusso, age 67, of Halifax, formerly of East Boston, died on Friday, January 18, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Boston, son of the late Ralph & Irene (Haverty) Colarusso. Peter worked and retired from Reebok and served in the National Guard. He was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed working in his garden. Peter is the dear brother of Ralph and his partner Jean, Tom, Ellie Joyce and husband Steve, Lisa Talbot and husband Don, and Paula Bain and husband Dave. Uncle Pete will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews; Jodi, Robin, Billy, Thomas, Andrea, Ralph, Jason, Michael, Amy, Matt, Dan, Tim, Scott, Melissa, and Adam. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Pete's life at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Monday, January 21, 2013, from 4:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services at the Shepherd Funeral Home, Kingston, on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Central Cemetery, Hemlock Lane, Halifax. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Pete's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
