Dear Ruthie,Jen & Josh,
May you find confort in the many friends and family members who love you and care about you. Take comfort knowing if you need anyone at any time we are all here for you. The minster was talking with someone after the funeral and said he could see how much he was loved and cared about as it was very obvious that he was a special man. Those who were there for Bobby are also there for you at any time. Love us

I was a classmate of Bob's graduating in his class of 1964 from what was then Florida Presbyterian College, now Eckere. I wish to send my sincerest condolences to his family. I did not know Bob after graduation, but he was a friend at FPC.

I remember when Josh and I were headed to the Penny Arcade Expo in 2010. When we go into his car, we were so excited that the back windshield exploded. To top things off, it was raining. Luckily Josh's dad came to the rescue and lent us his car for the day so we could make it. I know if it was my dad and me in that situation, he would have been irate, but Josh's dad was so kind and nice. In fact, every time I saw him, he always had a smile on his face. I know that he will be missed a lot; not only by his family, but by me as well.

Ruthie -
I was saddened to hear about Bobby, but from your emails I knew his condition had worsened. I have fond memories of both of you from years past. I always admired his commitment to family along with his generosity and wit. I knew about his Vietnam service but we never talked about it much. As we say in the VFW, 'we have lost one of ours.' I will always remember him as a true patriot and I know there is a special place for him beside all those who fought for God and country. God bless you along with Jen and Josh.

Ruth, Joshua, Jenny, Mike, Joseph, and Isabelle,
You are all in our thoughts and prayers. We will treasure Uncle Bobby always in our hearts. he was a gift to all of us and the lessons he has taught us over the years are ones to be kept close in our hearts. He was a special brother, husband, son, father, grandfather, uncle and friend to all who met him. May you find comfort in the memories and love he gave to all and his way of thinking of everyone else to protect us no matter how much pain he felt. I will miss him so much.
Love,
Robin and Peter
