Obituary of Esther J. Marks

Esther J. Marks, 87, of Kingston, died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, September 10, 2011. As a born again Christian, we celebrate her life and witness. Esther was a long time member of the Mayflower Congregational Church of Kingston. She was former head housekeeper at the Evanswood Nursing Home for 10 years. She then worked at Plimouth Plantation's Gift Shop and Welcome Center for 25 years. She was loved and appreciated by all she came in contact with and will be remembered for her loving smile. Esther is survived by her son, Bryan Marks and his wife Sandra. She also leaves two grandsons, Bradford Marks and Christopher Marks, whom she loved dearly. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at the Mayflower Congregational Church, 207 Main Street, Kingston, on Friday, September 23 at 11:00 AM, followed by a collation in the church hall. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Esther's memory to the Mayflower Congregational Church, 207 Main Street, Kingston, MA 02364.
