Paul E. Smith, age 70, of Kingston, died on Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at the Jordan Hospital in Plymouth. Paul was born and raised in Randolph and attended Randolph Public Schools. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law and uncle to his family. Paul served in the US Army, post Korean Conflict. He was a long time business owner and operator of Pilgrim Auto Body in Kingston and a member of the Old Colony Sportsmen Club in Pembroke. Paul enjoyed antique cars, fishing, painting, travelling to his condominium in Florida and loved the Boston Red Sox. He was the beloved husband of 49 years to Sandy (Whitman) Smith; devoted father of Robin Darsch of Plymouth & her former husband Peter Darsch of Kingston, Kelly Smith of Kingston, Paul Smith, Jr. of Mcdonough, GA; loving grandfather of Nickolaus Darsch, Caleb Darsch, Rebekah Darsch and Jamie Smith; dear brother of Donna Davin of FL, Raymond Smith of Randolph and the late Arthur "Buddy" Smith and Jean Queenan and dear son of the late Arthur & Ruth (Chase) Smith. He was the long time friend of "Marksie". Paul, also known as "THE WEEZE" is also survived by many other loving family and friends. Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Sunday, May 6, from 2:00-4:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326, Plymouth, MA 02360.
