To Ed's Family and friends
Ed was a wonderful Gentleman and a good friend to both my husband Jennings and I.
Ed you will be missed we all loved you.
to his family we met your Dad in 2004 in Charleston, SC at the 801st EAB Veterans reunion. He was our happy musicman and we had some of the grest sing-alongs. He made our reunions special. He visited us in Holyoke, MA and had dinner with us when he came. I am loss at his passing. My husband also died Aug 7,2011 My prayers are with you all.

The membership of the Duxbury American Legion, Post 223, wish to express our sincere sorrow at the passing of our friend and comrade Ed Devnew. He was a member of our Post for over fifty years and took part in many of our patriotic activities. His love for his country was in evidence as he participated in Memorial Day, Flag Day, Fourth of July and Veteran's Day events. He will be greatly missed.
We want to express our deepest sympathy to his family in their loss.
