Obituary of Gail A. Briggs

Gail A. Briggs, age 69, of Plympton, died on Thursday, May 16, 2013, at her home. Born in California, she was the beloved daughter of the late Richard & Lorraine (Lowery) Briggs. Gail was a champion of open space, she worked tirelessly for the preservation of Cato's Ridge and Churchill Park in Plympton. Gail was the beloved sister of Vicki Frost Dougherty & her husband John of Hanover and Robert Briggs of Hanover; devoted aunt of Kara, Johanna, Richard and great-aunt of Tanner, Owen, Cameron, Christian and Brady; longtime loving friend of Emily Ballerino of Plympton and Erin Oakham & her husband Gary of Plympton. Funeral services will be private. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at her residence. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Gail's memory may be made to Wildlands Trust, P.O.
