Obituary of Kenneth T. Monahan

Kenneth T. Monahan, Sr., age 78, of Kingston, died on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at his home. Born in Malden, he was the son of the late Henry & Dorothy (Doucette) Monahan. Kenneth served in the U.S. Army for over 20 years, serving in the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. For almost 20 years, he was a technician for printing equipment. He was the beloved husband of Helen (Farrell) Monahan; devoted father of Kenneth T. Monahan, Jr. of Bourne and Rita J. Lammers of Ocala, FL; loving grandfather of Kristina Brown & her husband Jay, Kenneth T. Monahan III, Nicole A. Monahan and great-grandfather of five; dear brother of the late Charles Monahan, Eugene Monahan, his twin Richard Monahan and Patricia Coviello. He is also survived by two nieces. There will be no visiting hours. A memorial funeral Mass will be held at Saint Joseph's Church, 272 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at 9:00 AM. Interment services will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bennington Boulevard, Bourne, on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM.
