Obituary of Mary E. Bere

Mary E. Bere, "Bunny", a longtime resident of Pembroke since 1961, passed away peacefully at home, on June 5, 2013, at the age of 85. Mary was a longtime employee of the Baypath Nursing home in Duxbury. Beloved wife of the late John H. Bere. Loving mother of Kathleen Szoke of Bridgewater, Linda Dowd of Plymouth, Robert H. Bere of Pembroke, Eileen M. Jacob of Hanover, and the late Jay Bere, Lawrence Bere, and Donna Bryan. Daughter of the late Lawrence and May Burns. Cherished grandmother of 17 and the late David Tundidor, and Kelley Bryan. Mary is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (Rt. 14) Pembroke, on Wednesday June 12th from 9-11:00 AM, followed by a private graveside service at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne.
