Obituary of Marshall R. Ball

Marshall R. Ball, age 90, of Carver, formerly of Mendon, died on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at the Royal Cape Cod Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Buzzards Bay. He was born in Framingham, the son of the late Walter & Bessie (McBurnie) Ball. For over three years, Marshall served his country in the U.S. Army Airforce during World War II. He was also an avid Red Sox fan. Marshall was the beloved husband of the late Mary C. (Dillon) Ball. He is survived by loving cousins and dear friends. A visitation period will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, (Route 58), Carver, on Monday, July 1, 2013, from 10:30-11:30 AM, with a funeral service at 11:30 AM. Interment services with military honors will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, 1 Bennington Boulevard, Bourne at 12:45 PM.
