Judy Robertson, 63, passed away in the caring company of her family, from complications of COPD on July 14, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton MA.: Born with her dear twin sister, Jeannie Robertson, in Boston, Ma., on December 28, 1949, Former wife of David R. Galbreath, she is survived by two sons she loved very much, David R. Galbreath Jr. of Halifax Ma., and Kevin Galbreath, together with his wife Kerri of Plymouth, Ma., who are parents of her cherished grandchildren, Stephen and Kaitlyn Galbreath. Predeceased by her parents, Charles W., and Mary M. (Crotty) Robertson, as well as her beloved step father Donald “Grumpy Grampy” Rosenberg, Her other siblings are Donald Robertson, and Brenda Robertson. Judy was a very special person who captured the attention of anyone that came in contact with her. Generously joyful, her open laugh and life force made her a pillar of support to her dear friends and family. A skilled licensed hairdresser before she became disabled with breathing difficulty, she remained willing to volunteer the perfect haircut to anyone that asked. She was a woman of great spiritual strength and compassion. Always researching, and reaching to share wisdom, healing, and light with all who crossed her path, she became a pillar of emotional support to many. She was grateful for the lifelong mentoring advice of her dear friends, Annie, and Dan Cherella. She found great enjoyment in surprising friends with home cooked meals, and presenting them with beautiful hand-made Greeting Cards, or beaded jewelry. Judy was so giving and asked for nothing in return. She will be greatly missed but will always be remembered. Memorial Calling hours will be held Thursday July 25, 2013 from 4-7pm at the Shepherd Funeral Home 7 Mattakeesett St. (Rte. 14 Pembroke Center) Pembroke MA.
