Victoria "Vicki" T. (Adamo) Gentile, age 76, of Halifax, died on Saturday, June 7, 2014. She was born in Boston, on September 28, 1937. Vicki grew up in Stoughton and graduated from Stoughton High School, Class of 1956. She was a longtime volunteer for the Girls Scouts and Share New England Food Pantry in Canton. She was also an avid bingo player. Vicki was the beloved daughter of Josephine (Mirabito) Adamo of Plymouth & the late Joseph Adamo; loving mother of Nancy Lodge Paolini of Davenport, FL and Lisa Desharnais & her husband Edward of Halifax; devoted grandmother of Jennifer Landolfi, Michael Lodge-Paolini, Alex Desharnais, Zachary Desharnais and Cameron Desharnais and great-grandmother of Olivia, Samantha and Liam Landolfi; dear sister of Patricia Byrnes of Carver, William Adamo of Whitman, Sandra Slavin of Plymouth and the late Joseph Adamo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, from 4:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services at the Shepherd Funeral Home, Kingston, on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at 8:15 AM, followed by her funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 580 Monponsett Street, (Route 58), Halifax, at 9:00 AM. Interment services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Vicki's memory may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Department 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142, www.stjude.org
