Obituary of Constance Laliberte

Please share a memory of Constance to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Constance "Dolly" Laliberte of Kingston, entered into eternal rest, after a vigorous and courageous battle with Scleroderma and Lupus. She was 77 years old. Born in Boston in 1937, Dolly was preceded in death by her parents, Pia Ïda and Clement Napolitano, as well as her two brothers, Pasquale, and Vincenzo Napolitano. Dolly was married to her loving and devoted husband Leo for near to fifty years, and together they raised three children and three grandchildren, all still living: her daughters Teri (Theresa) DiFrancesco-Borseti and her husband Ron, Paula Cushman, and her husband Woody, and her son Eugene DiFrancesco and his wife Anne. She also leaves her three grandchildren: Pia & Ramona DiFrancesco, and Adam Borseti, all of whom she was crazy about, and she would always leave them with, "Grammy loves you." Despite her 8th grade education, Dolly was bright and articulate, and had strong opinions to share. She loved to read, and was a compassionate and generous servant to all she met, making sure that no critter within her reach, animal or human, faced hunger or injustice. It is also well known that she was the greatest cook in the solar system. Restaurateurs wanted many of her recipes, but they only existed in her head. This Thanksgiving, they had stuffed artichokes in heaven. The matriarch of the family around whom all things revolved, her presence seemed to command a semicircle around her at all times. She will be missed by not only her immediate family, but by nieces, in laws, neighbors, and friends, her last two cats Stanley and Coco, and probably all the grocery stores in town. Her passing leaves an unfathomable void, and the memory of her will burn strongly forever. Rest in peace Dolly. Visiting hours will be held on Monday December 1st from 2-5:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 2nd from 4-7:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, December 3rd at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Church in Kingston. Interment will be at the Evergreen cemetery in Kingston. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a local food bank, or to Norwell VNA and Hospice on behalf of Dolly Laliberte, 120 Longwater Dr, Norwell, MA 02061.
