Julie,
I was shocked to hear of Ted's passing this morning, Ted was a very good friend to me in times of need and I could always count on him to cheer me up and bring a smile to my face. I have known Ted for over 30 years and hadn't really kept in as close touch as I would of liked to until recently we have been seeing a little more of each other, I saw Ted just a couple of weeks ago and he was in good spirits, Brenda and I are very sorry for your loss and please let us know if there is anything that we can do to ease your pain during this difficult time.

We met Ted many years ago when he coached our daughter Haley in Mansfield. He was always fair and tried his best to let all the girls play even when he knew some of them were not as talented as others! He was always positive and patient with them and when they got down at times he would say you will get a goal its just a matter of time! He was still as cheerful when they lost as when they won! We had four kids in sports lots of games and lots of coaches. He was the best by far......a great coach and a great guy.499101

Mr. Brown was a cherished coach, and someone who enriched my life! He always had words of encouragement for all of "his girls", not just the superstar players. He was enthusiastic, fair, and funny as hell! I loved his accent and never grew tired of listening to him talk. Mr. Brown was just so fun to be around! He will be thought of often and fondly remembered. May he rest in peace. Prayers to Katie, Scott, Julie and all of his family members.
