Obituary of Anne T. Scarry

Anne T. Scarry, 87, of Duxbury, passed away on December 29, 2014. She was the loving wife of Leo T. Scarry Sr, for 65 years. She is pre deceased by her parents Albert C. Dunphy and Isabel P. Dunphy (McEachearn). Anne was the loving mother of Leo T. Scarry Jr and his wife Karen of Hingham MA, Brian A. Scarry of Duxbury MA, Lisa A. Scarry of Andover NH, Alison M. Scarry of Amesbury MA and Tracy P. Scarry and her husband Bruce of Duxbury MA. Anne is also survived by her sisters Margaret Scarry of Duxbury MA, Barbara DiSabato of N. Andover MA and Jane Donovan of Newark, DE. She was the devoted grandmother of Gabriel and his wife Jennifer, Gregory and his wife Meghan, Nicholas and his girlfriend Haley Bunnell, Samantha, Liam, Lindsey, Patrick, Casey Anne, Keara and Sean. Anne was the great grand mother of Bellamy and Rylee and aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Lasell College. Anne was also the recipient of the Carnegie Medal of Heroism. If you choose, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association or the Alzheimers Association. Visiting hours from the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St, Kingston (Rt106) will be held Friday, January 2, from 4:00 to 8:00PM. A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, January 3, at 9:00AM at Holy Family Church in Duxbury. Internment will follow at Mayflower Cemetery in Duxbury.
