Obituary of Aldo A. Bartlett

Aldo Andrew Bartlett, Jr., age 72, of Plymouth died on February 10, 2015 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late Aldo and Marion (Romano) Bartlett. Aldo defined what it meant to be a self-made man; he founded Bartlett Consolidated, LLC. and pioneered a service program for highway safety that is now the industry standard. Aldo was a gregarious and charismatic man whose strength and passion for business and life was unmatchable. His zeal for life and laughter buoyed all that came into contact with him, particularly his family members. Aldo is survived by his adored and beloved girlfriend Donna Franklin; he was the devoted father of Eric Bartlett of Bourne, Ryan Bartlett and his wife Paula of Plymouth, and Jenna Ogundipe and husband Segun of Plymouth; adoring grandfather of Anthony, Joseph, Lucas, Nora, Sanya, Sola, and Segun; dear brother of Frank Bartlett and wife Diane of Duxbury, Bruce Bartlett and wife Patricia of San Diego, and Marie Colton and husband Richard of Montague. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.Visiting hours will be at the Shephard Funeral Home, 216 Main Street (Route 106), Kingston on Monday, February 16, 2015from 4:00-8:00PM. His funeral Mass will be at Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont Street, Duxbury at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, February 17, 2015.In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made for the continued support of the research efforts of Dr Michael Jaklitsch in the early diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer.
