Obituary of Thomas P. Coyne

Thomas P. Coyne, 72, of Plymouth MA, passed away suddenly on February 20, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Diane (Williams) Coyne of Plymouth. He was the loving father of Michelle Burt of Pembroke, Suzanne Costa of Carver, Jennifer Coyne of Ellicott City, MD. Thomas was the grandfather to Michael Costa, Nicholas Costa, Courtney Burt, Kyle Burt, Ryan Croft and Julia Croft. He is the brother of Martin Coyne of Plymouth and Kevin Coyne of Carlsbad, CA. Thomas was the graduate of English High School and Newbury Junior College. Thomas was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He worked for many years at the MBTA with the Carmens Union . Thomas was a long time volunteer at the Plymouth Area Coalition Food Pantry. Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home 7 Mattakeesett St. Pembroke MA on Wednesday February 25, from 5:00 to 8:00PM. A funeral Mass will be held Thursday, February 26, at St. Bonaventure Parish in Plymouth at 10:00AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The American Heart Association or the Jett Foundation.
