Dear Mrs. Long ,and Family I was saddened to find Out about Jerry . I have to say he was one of the best men that I have ever known. Jerry built up my self confidence to try to be a goalie with Kingston Youth Hockey . He was very supportive to me at the time when I was just 13 years old . I never had support from my Dad like his when I needed the confidence to Play Goalie . He was the first person to ask me if I would like to be a goalie ,and From then on pretty soon it was 14 years later into Silver Lake High School's Junior Varsity Hockey Team . His Coaching had helped me maintain the confidence in myself to do as best as I Can at anything. He Treated me Almost Just Like one of his own Sons. At This Time I Am Offering Mrs. Long ,and entire Long Family my personal Condolence to each one of you at this sorrowful time . He was always there for me when I needed support,and advice for playing hockey . At This Time I will Be there for him because he was a great man . Miss You Terribly Jerry. Jamie Hatch .
