Obituary of John G. Franchi

John G. Franchi, 91, of Hanson, and formerly of Brockton, passed away on May 5, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Florence Franchi. Loving father of Linda Loiselle, and her husband Paul of Pembroke, and Kathryn Franchi-Lawson and her husband James of NC. Cherished grandfather of Jeff and his wife Julie Loiselle of Bridgewater, Cheryl Loiselle and her husband Kyle Mailloux of Melrose, Kate and Jeffrey Johnson of NC, and John Lawson of NC. Great grandfather to Brayden and Emily. John is also survived by many cousins as well as his extended family and friends. John was an electrician, and member of local IBEW 223. He was a member of the Brockton Bocce Club, the Conte Club, the Upland Club, and the Polish White Eagles. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, May 8th from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (rt. 14) Pembroke. A funeral service will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home on Saturday, May 9th at 9:00 AM. Interment will be at the Fern Hill cemetery in Hanson.
