Alice L. (DeHarnais) Carey of Duxbury, at age 101, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on June 22, 2015.
Beloved wife of the late John J. Carey. Mother of Anita Mahoney of Duxbury and the late David Carey. Mother-in-law of Patricia Carey of Rockland and the late William T. Mahoney. Also survived by 8 grandchildren; many, many great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street (Route 106) Kingston, on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass in Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont Street (Route 3A), Duxbury at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4:00-8:00 PM.
Interment at the Mayflower Cemetery, Duxbury.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326, Plymouth, MA 02360.
