Obituary of John A. Sarjeant

John A. Sarjeant, 94, of Duxbury, passed away on July 10, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Patricia Sarjeant. Loving father to Margaret Sorrento and her husband Charles of Kingston, Joseph Sarjeant and his wife Sandy of Delaware, Mark Sarjeant and his wife Maureen of CA, Maura Sarjeant of Quincy, Jack Sarjeant and his wife Jessica of CA, Colin Sarjeant and his partner Paul Sokoloff of CA, the late Paula Sarjeant. Brother to Mary McEnroe and her husband Edward, Joseph Sarjeant and his wife Barbara, Jane Foley and her husband William, Julie Hallahan, Betty Bernier, and the late Francis Sarjeant. Cherished grandfather of 3, and great grandfather to 5. John is also survived by many nieces, and nephews, as well as his extended family and friends. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, July 14th from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (rt. 106) Kingston. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, July 15th at Holy Family Church in Duxbury at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at the New Calvary Cemetery in Mattapan. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
