Obituary of Thomas "Tom" D'Eramo

Thomas "Tom" D'Eramo, age 65, of Carver, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015.
Tom was born in Boston, a son of the late Robert V. & Connie (Lena) D'Eramo. He grew up in Dorchester before moving to Carver where he resided. Tom was a veteran in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He owned and operated Tom's Auto Service in Carver for 37 years. Tom was an auto racing enthusiast and loved gardening and caring for his woodland creatures. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping and fishing. He was a member of the American Legion. Tom was a very generous and caring person.
Tom was the beloved husband of Carol A. Criscitello; loving father of Darin D'Eramo of Middleborough, Jason D'Eramo of Middleborough and Darlene Pelton of Middleborough; dear grandfather of Katrina, Rachael, Jonathan and Megan; dear brother of Angela Chase of Abington, David D'Eramo of Abington and the late Robert D'Eramo and the late Paul D'Eramo & his surviving wife Elaine D'Eramo of Carver. Tom is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, (Route 58), Carver, on Thursday, September 10, 2015, from 4:00-8:00 PM.
Funeral services at the Shepherd Funeral Home, Carver, on Friday, September 11, 2015, at 10:00 AM followed by his funeral Mass at Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Church, 126 South Meadow Road, South Plymouth, at 11:00 AM.
Interment services will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, 1 Bennington Boulevard, Bourne at 2:15 PM.
