Obituary of George Noyes

George Noyes, 79, of Pembroke, died on October 28, 2015. Beloved husband of Joyce Noyes. Loving father of Robert S. Noyes of Pembroke, Wayne E. Noyes and his wife Kelly of Greenville, ME, Scott M. Noyes and his wife Laurie of Pembroke, and the late George Noyes and his wife Caroline of Halifax. Son of the late George and Norma (Quinby) Noyes. Brother of Marjorie Hill of FL, and the late Dawna House. Cherished grandfather of 9, and great grandfather of 8. In addition George is survived by his close family members Debbie (Gould) Johnson and Dickie Gould. George was a Union Carpenter, Local 33, and was a longtime employee of Modern Continental. He was also a Cub Scout Leader in Pembroke, and was a trustee of the First Church in Pembroke. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 30th from 4-7:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (Rt. 14) Pembroke. A funeral service will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home on Saturday, October 31st at 9:30 AM. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant cemetery in Pembroke.
