Obituary of Geraldine McGrath

Geraldine "Gerry" (Gagnon) McGrath, age 80, of Kingston passed away peacefully on November 6, 2015 in the company of her husband, Joseph McGrath and Jacqueline (McGrath) Rezendes of Plymouth. Born in Malden, February 28, 1935, Gerry was the daughter of Arthur and Helen (Moriarty) Gagnon. She was predeceased by her brothers Norman Gagnon of Wakefield; Arthur Gagnon of Kingston; and sons Mark and Jeffrey Higgins of Kingston. In addition to her husband and daughter, Gerry is survived by daughter, Karen Stewart and her husband Thomas Stewart of Pennsylvania; son-in-law Mark Rezendes of Plymouth; granddaughters Grace, Katherine (Rezendes) Gentile, Anna, Molly & Tess Rezendes of Plymouth, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Before retirement, Gerry was the Accounting Manager in the family Foreign Auto Parts Import business. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, yard sales and spending time with her family. There will be no visiting hours. Family and friends are welcome to attend a funeral Mass at Saint Joseph's Church, 272 Main Street, (Route 106), Kingston, on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2015, at 9:00 AM. Interment services will be private. The family wishes to thank all the staff of Cranberry Hospice.
