Obituary of Kevin B. Healey

Kevin B. Healey, 75, of Braintree, formerly of Duxbury, passed away Wednesday Dec. 30, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Shirley (Sherwood) Healey, his son Matt and his wife Leslie Prescott of Needham, son Brendan of Fall River, son Justin and his wife Karen Ferrini of Lakeville and daughter Janine Kizik and her husband Rick of Norfolk, grandchildren Layne, Connor, Kieran, Ryan, Caroline, Cameron and Caleb. He was born August 10, 1940 in Dorchester, a graduate of Gate of Heaven High School in South Boston. He spent 22 years in security at Pilgrim Power Plant in Plymouth and served as a Special Officer in the Duxbury Police department. He is proceeded in death by his parents James and Margaret Healey, brothers James Healey and John Healey. He was the uncle of many nieces and nephews and brother-in-law to Jean B. Healey of Braintree. A funeral Mass will take place at Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont St (Route 3A) Duxbury, on Friday January 8, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in Kevin’s name may be made to a charity of your choice.
