Charles W. Marsh, 100, of Pembroke passed away on January 31, 2016 at home. Preceded by his wife Miriam, He’s leaving his three children, Miriam (Mim) Sevigny of Pembroke, Jean and her husband Richard of Halifax, and his son Robert and his wife Kathy of New Hampshire.
Charlie grew up in Weymouth then served in the Army overseas. Upon returning, moved his wife and 3 children to Hanson. He worked many years for Quincy Ford Motor Company and Virta’s garage as an auto body technician. Charlie loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting or roaming around the woods with his dogs. Charlie had a wonderful sense of humor and loved a good joke or story.
He spent many years at the Gurnet before he and his wife built their own home where they lived for 16 years being the first settlers year round. He also enjoyed traveling the East coast, from Canada to Florida for pleasure.
He leaves behind not only his 3 children but 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. He also leaves behind a dear friend, Marjorie McCarthy.
