Obituary of John R. Neslusan

John R. Neslusan, 82, passed away on February 27, 2016. He was the son of the late Edward Neslusan Sr. and Anna (Mikolaycik) Neslusan. He was the husband of the late Jean E. (Poland) Neslusan, and was later re-married to his current wife, the late Barbara Neslusan. John was the loving father to his son Joseph Neslusan and also his step-children Edward Hirsch, Barbara Cassidy and her husband Robert, Donna Barden and Stephen Hirsch and his wife Christine. He was a devoted grandfather to twelve grandchildren as well as several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. John is also survived by his siblings Raymond Neslusan, Kathleen Burroughs and the late Francis Neslusan and the late Edward Neslusan Jr. John worked at the State St. Bank for forty years. He was a devoted member of St. Theclas Church in Pembroke and was also a former member of the Pembroke/ Hanover Elks Lodge. Visiting hours will be held, Thursday March 3, from 9:00 to 10:45AM, at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St. Pembroke, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Theclas Church in Pembroke at 11:00AM. Internment will follow at Center Cemetery in Pembroke. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's name to the Life Care Center of Plymouth, MA.
