Obituary of William F. Blanchard

William F. Blanchard, 71, of Pembroke, passed away on March 1, 2016. Loving husband of Bette Blanchard. Beloved father of Tracy Lake of New Bedford, Vincent Bodine and his wife Dana of Winder, GA, Michelle (Blanchard) Alfano and her husband Michael of Pembroke and Vicki (Keith) Rich of Magnolia, TX. Son of the late Frederick and Geraldine Blanchard. Brother of Ronald Blanchard and his wife Mary of Halifax, and Bonnie (Blanchard) Haley and her husband David of Scituate. Cherished Grandfather to Jessica, Shay, Zachary, Kristy, James, Kara, Timothy, Chase, Lucas, Autumn, Sarah, and Sydney, and Great Grandfather to Cheyenne, Anthony, Alexia, Izabella, Lilly, Audrey, Kiyarah, Javon, Emesen, and Alana. William was a graduate of Weymouth High School, served in the US Air force and was a proud retiree of both Armstrong Corp and Pembroke Public Schools. Memorial visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, March 8th from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (Rt. 14) Pembroke. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, March 9th at 10:00 AM at St. Thecla’s church in Pembroke.
