Dear Tim,
Thank you for your phone call regarding your dad. I hope that you received my return call. My regret is that I did not reach you to express to you and your family my sadness at your dad's passing away. As you know, my late wife, Lee, and Boo were very close friends and both passed away much too soon as did your dad. Being as close as the girls were, I got to know your father well. He was a great person- congenial, good conversationalist, a boater and more!. We had many fun times together. He added joy to my life.
I regret that I will miss your dad's service as I will be in AZ on the 18th visiting Nancy. Were we here we would certainly join you and family at First Parish Church.
