Obituary of Blanche Dowgiert

Blanche (Rochalski) Dowgiert, age 97, of Duxbury, formerly of Pembroke, died on Sunday, March 27, 2016, at the BayPath of Duxbury in Duxbury. She was born in Bochoniki, Poland, a daughter of the late Thomas & Zophia (Kondratowicz) Rochalski. Blanche was the loving mother of Mary Zieba & her husband Mario of Pembroke and the late Andrew Dowgiert & his surviving wife Roberta Dowgiert of Duxbury; loving grandmother of Thomas Zieba & his wife Laura, Karen Zieba, Angela Dowgiert, Krysten Dowgiert, Elizabeth Frangioso & her husband Timothy and the late Victor Dowgiert; great-grandmother of Korryn, Gage, Anya, Aidan, AJ, Ava Boss, Victoria Ariel and Adria. Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett Street, (Route 14), Pembroke, on Monday, April 4, 2016, from 4:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services at the Shepherd Funeral Home, Pembroke, on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at 10:00 AM, followed by her funeral Mass to be celebrated at Saint Joseph the Worker Church, 1 Maquan Street, Hanson, at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Center Cemetery, Oldham Street, Pembroke.
