Obituary of Eric Black

Eric Black, 63, of Milton, passed away on June 30, 2016. Eric was born on May 17, 1953 in Vallejo, California. He received a master's in education, and taught school in Peru, St.Thomas, Virgin Islands, Halifax Elementary, an Indian reservation in Minnesota and North Dakota. He settled in Debs, Minnesota, and lived out the rest of his life, nine years, in Milton Healthcare nursing home. Beloved son of the late Bertice and Mary Ann Pipkins Black. Loving brother to Gregory Black of Kingston, Stanley Black of Center Moriches L.I., New York, and Kathy Black of the Bay area, California. Visiting hours are going to be held from 6-6:30, with a funeral service to follow at the Vineyard Community Church, 8 Hilltop Avenue, Kingston, on Thursday, on July 7th. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 8th at 11:00 AM at the Hillcrest cemetery in Plympton. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt 106) Kingston at 10:30 to join the procession.
