Obituary of C.H. Barratt Davison

C.H. Barrett Davison, 90, of Carver, passed away on January 5, 2017. Born in Boston in 1926, he is the son of L. Barratt and Ruth A. (Hutchinson) Davison. Mr. Davison lived in Winthrop before moving to Carver after his military service in the Navy. He attended Kent School in CT, and UMass Amherst. He owned and operated East Head Bogs, Bailey Bogs, and Mayflower Bogs until his retirement. He was an avid golfer and belonged to the Kittansett Club in Marion, and several in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, where he spent winters until ill health. He was a member of Mayflower Lodge A.F. and A.M. He was loving husband to Nancy (Bailey) Davison. Father to Diane and her husband Mike Szczepanek of Carver John Savery Davison and his wife Ellen of Pembroke, and Charles Barratt Davison and wife Heike Milhench of Marion. Grandfather to Nathan, Jennie, and Connor Szczepanek , Bradford and Scott Davison, and Henrik and Else Milhench Davison. A graveside service will be planned for the spring at the Union cemetery in S. Carver.
