Obituary of Kenneth Grindle

Kenneth Jackson "Jack" Grindle, 86, of Carver passed away on January 18, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Sally (Partridge) Grindle. Loving father of Mike and Dolly Grindle, Nancy (Grindle) and John Shephard, and the late Kathy Grindle. Grandfather to Mike and Heather and great grandfather to Jenn, Haylee and Jack.
Jack was a veteran of the Korean War, then worked for 25 years as a manager for the A&P Tea Co, and retired early to drive school bus for the Carver school district. Jack loved spending time with his family and was a huge Boston sports fan, an avid follower of the Patriots and Red Sox, and loved to play golf, bocce and bowl.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, January 22nd from 1-3:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St (Rt. 58) Carver. Mr. Grindle will be laid to rest with military honors at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne on Monday, January 23rd at 11:15 AM.
