Ruth Ernestine Hatch, 81, of Kingston, passed away on April 3, 2017. Born in Boston, MA Ruth attended Jeremiah E Burke High School. She spent most of her life in North Quincy with her final 8 years living with her daughter's family in Kingston, MA. She was retired from MIB Westwood where she had a long career. She was a loving and protective mother of her daughter, Pamela. Ruth was the loving sister of the late - Constance Baranow of N. Quincy, Frederick Baranow of Weymouth, Edward Baranow of Boston, William Baranow of N. Quincy, Bertha Mooney of CA and Lillian Scott of NH. Ruth was an avid reader who loved pets, going to the casinos and enjoyed world wide traveling with her friends and family. Everyone that met Grammie loved her and she loved them back; whether it was just a wave or a funny/family story. She will be remembered. Survivors include her daughter Pamela (Hatch) Richardson, son-in-law William Richardson and her loving grandsons, Liam and Ethan Richardson as well as many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, great nephews and numerous close friends. In her final act of giving, Ruth was an organ donor and partnered with New England Organ Donation. In lieu of flowers, we ask donations in her name to Boston Children's Hospital www.childrenshospital.org, or with your local animal shelter or your local Senior Center.
