Gregory (Greg) W. Pike, age 46, passed away after a brief illness on June 18, 2017. Greg leaves behind his beloved wife Michelle (King) of Plympton, MA. He was the son of Donald G. Pike, Sr. and the late Dorothy (Kielty) Pike. He is survived by his siblings Frank Nelson of Nashua, NH; James Nelson and his girlfriend Lou Nunely of Virginia; Terri McKay and her husband Gary of Florida; Carol Dever and her husband Tom of Pembroke, MA; Lauren Rice of Florida; and Donald G. Pike, Jr. of Vermont; his father in law William King of Plympton, MA; as well as many nieces and nephews. Greg also leaves behind a fantastic, close group of friends: Dave, Bob, Bob, Dan, Scott, and Dave. Greg was born in Boston, MA. He worked as an IT technician and a driver’s education teacher. He loved traveling with his wife and rummaging through yard sales together. Greg was a lifelong fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He was also an avid fan of the Marvel Universe, especially Thor, and he enjoyed listening to country music, watching John Wayne movies and spending time with his friends. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation towards kidney cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168. Visiting Hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St. Kingston on Friday, June 23, from 4:00 to 8:00PM. A Service will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home on Saturday, June 24, at 10:00. Interment will follow at Central Cemetery in Halifax.
