Obituary of Marjorie D. Mosher

Marjorie D. Mosher, of Carver, passed away November 3, 2017, at Radius Healthcare in Plymouth at the age of 97. Marjorie was born in Carver on May 8, 1920 to the late Daniel and Orrie (Shurtleff) Dempsey. Wife of the late Eldred Mosher, Jr., and mother to Janice Dauphinais of Manchester NH, and the late Joan Johnson, and Eldred Mosher III. Sister to Gordon Dempsey of Napa, CA. Marjorie was affectionately known as “Noonie” to her four grandchildren, including the late Mark Johnson and Eric Johnson, many great grandchildren, as well as great great grandchildren. She was a lifelong member of United Parish Church, and very active in the Carver community. She attended the Carver school system, and was a member of the Garden Club, Fireman's Auxiliary, the bicentennial committee, and was Vice President of the Carver Old Home Day Association. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, November 7th, from 4-7:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St (Rt. 58) Carver. A funeral service will be held at the United Parish of Carver on Wednesday, November 8th at 10:00 AM. Graveside services will follow at the Central cemetery in Carver.
