Obituary of Susan M. Rinella

Susan M. Rinella (Manson), 90, of Weymouth, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2017 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her cherished daughters, Susan Scully and her husband Michael of Rockland, Christine Prebensen and her husband Gary of Pembroke and Lisa Boutin and her husband John of Middleboro. Also survived by 5 granddaughters and 9 great grandchildren. Susan was married to Leon Rinella (now deceased) and was a devoted wife for 70 years. She was a proud homemaker and spent some time working at McDonald’s in North Weymouth. She loved spending time at home, reading, working on her needlepoint, crocheting and especially loved the time she spent with her family. Susan, along with her husband Leon, spent over 45 years square and round dancing and enjoyed their senior bowling leagues for the past 20 years. Susan loved to dance, walk outside and many days walked for over 6 miles. She was a kind and caring woman and always said hello to people she passed by. Susan will be deeply missed. Visitation hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett Street (Rte. 14), Pembroke on Friday, January 5th from 11:00 am to 1:00pm with services to follow at the funeral home. Cremation will follow.
