Obituary of Agnes M. Dowd

Agnes M. Dowd of Kingston died on September 30, 2007. She was 89 years old. Mrs. Dowd was born, raised, and educated in Boston. Following her graduation from high school Mrs. Dowd married her Husband; James H. Dowd Sr. Mrs. Dowd was a wonderful, and loving Wife and Mother who stayed at home to raise her eight children. Mrs. Dowd is the Wife of the late James H. Dowd Sr.. Loving Mother of James Dowd of Kingston, Frank Dowd of Acton, Daniel Dowd of Marion, Delores Kindel of OH, Agnes Rutkowski of FL, Michele Golden of Rockland, Richard Dowd of Hanson, and the late Jon Dowd. She is the Grandmother of 20 Grandchildren, and 22 Great Grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, October 3rd from 6-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St. (Rt. 14) in Pembroke. A funeral mass will be held at the Holy Family Church, 403 Union St. in Rockland on Thursday, October 4th at 9:00 AM. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home at 8:00 AM prior to the mass. Burial will be at the St. Joseph Cemetery in Kingston.
