Margaret Basler Andrews of Kingston died on March 10, 2008 at the Jordan Hospital in Plymouth after a short illness, she was 96. She was the wife of the late Joseph Basler and Lawrence Andrews. Mother of Joseph Basler of Kingston, Barbara Jean Kalet of NY, Carol Weymouth and her husband Leon of Plymouth, Janet Gavoni and her husband Ronald of Carver and John Basler and his wife Alice of Plymouth. Sister of Elizabeth McNeil of Duxbury and the late John Watson. She is the Grandmother of 19, Great Grandmother of 31 and Great Great Grandmother of 3. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Margaret was born in Utica NY on 5-22-11 to the late John and Jennie Watson. She was a life long resident of Kingston in which she was the oldest member of the Kingston‘s Counsel on Aging. She was a Chaplin of the Grange, member of the American Legion and VFW. Margaret enjoyed shopping, quilting, traveling and playing whist. She mostly enjoyed crocheting for her whole family. Margaret lived a long and active life. Calling Hours will be held on Friday March 14, 2008 from 4-8pm at the Shepherd Funeral Home 216 Main St (Rt106) Kingston. Family and Friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home on Sat March 15, 2008 at 8am followed by a mass at St Joseph’s Church in Kingston at 9am. Burial will be at St Joseph’s Cemetery in Plymouth. Donations can be made to the St Joseph’s Church Building Fund 272 Main St Kingston Ma 02364.
